Reminds me of an event that took place some time ago in one of your small towns called Lac La Biche.<br /><br />The aboriginal people had had a college built named Petapun or new dawn. The government took it over and renamed it some institute or other.<br /><br />Among its classes, the school taught aboriginal arts, i.e. beadwork, leathermaking etc. All of the original teachers were replaced by young white teachers because the instructors were not members of the teaching union!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
